Our Founder - Brian Croak

Brian Croak’s dream of opening his own landscape design and construction business was realized in the spring of 2006. While Croak Creations may be only a few years old, Brian has been in the landscaping field for close to 20 years. It was in college where he first discovered his love for landscaping and the environment while working on the grounds crew at the college.

 

 

Preparation For Business Ownership

After graduating from the University of California-Santa Cruz, he worked for several landscaping businesses learning all aspects of the business from installation of the designs to managing the staff to interacting with the customers. It was managing the day-to-day operations of a landscaping firm that provided Brian with a solid foundation of customer service and knowledge of the industry. It was this experience that helped prepare Brian for the challenges of business ownership.

 

 

Years of Experience

Brian learned a great deal from his years of experience, yet he knew he wanted to make a difference in the way landscaping was done. While Brian was grateful for the opportunity of working for others, he saw the need for providing alternatives for his landscaping clients. Croak Creations is his way of sharing his ecological ideals with the rest of the world. He wanted to teach people they could have beautiful landscaping in their yards and be eco-friendly at the same time. He knew, that if given a choice, most people want to help the environment and so it is his goal to give people options that are green and therefore, lessen the impact on the environment.
